A quick stop before visiting Buffy, she needed to stock up. She had gone to the council, but Giles was not there. Entering, the bell above the door ringed, and she was greeted by the voice. A nod was given before going to have a look around. A little expensive, she wasn't use to paying for things just yet. Too much borrowing and I.O.Uing at the Magic Box.
Essentials, candles, inscence, eye of newt, linseed root, just average spell stuff to make her spells extra potent and...probably extra smelly. ...Oh, well. She noticed the books, and couldn't help but stop. She bent down, and looked at them, scanning them thoroughly. Hm, she needed some new books...seeing as all hers were at the bottom of a giant gorge now.

Connie came in through the door too. She knew she needed spells and books, she wasn't a proper witch hell she couldn't do the advanced spells like her father could but she needed to try if she wanted to survive on her own right? she was a slayer but she just didn't think that was enough anymore. Turning around she got two spellbooks and a candlestick. Looking around she saw someone. "Hey..." she greeted the red haired woman.
She wondered if it was Willow, she had already met Buffy and she hadn't been too hard to figure out thanks to her father back home but she wanted to be sure.

Chapter 2 The seeds would begin to be planted today. Finally, the time had come to meet the fabled witch she had heard oh so much about. Hell, the girl was more than a legend. She was a goddess. The one person that gave all of the slayers their power. Serena knew it was time to befriend the naive witch in order to learn more about her. So when she entered the magic shop she made her way over to the talismans and began to look through them. Right now, she was giving off the vibe of a total amateur. Riffling, through the talismans like they were nothing more than little pieces of metal. Her eyes then widened a bit as she saw a small yellow talisman and immediately she knew who's talisman it was. The Demon of Dance. The one who could make people's lives into a deadly musical. From her studies on the witch known as Willow, she knew Willow would recognize the talisman. Perhaps, she would try to stop the naive, innocent witch from making the mistake of summoning that wretched creature.
In fact, Serena was banking on it. However, a little push would help move things along and so she played it dumb. "Omgsh... this talisman is so pretty... I wonder what it does..." she said aloud hoping someone would hear her. A blonde woman seemed to be talking to the witch... hopefully that didn't stop her from trying to help the helpless.

Willow quickly turned to meet Connie, and she smiled curiously. "...Uh, hey.." She smiled, she didn't know the woman, but...she obviously seemed to know her. Huh, kind of cool, it never happened to Willow before. Hey! She was gaining renown, totally awesome. However, Willow's moment of pride was interrupted by the girl with the talisman. Eyes went to it, and she blinked. Hey...wasn't that?
"Oh, nonononono. ...Uh, excuse me, I gotta do this before we're all singing and combusting and...long story." She went to the girl, practically ripping the talisman from the girl's hands. She thought the one at the Magic Box was the only one, she quickly added it to her shopping bag. "You really don't want that, not unless you want to dance until you're on fire." She nodded, blinking. There was something odd about this girl...something didn't seem right. "Why not try the talisman. Nothing really magical..." Eyes searched until she found the simple chain with apparent Qur'anic verses or a chant on it "But, I here it wards off evil spirits. It's from Africa."

"You really don't want that, not unless you want to dance until you're on fire. Why not try the talisman. Nothing really magical...But, I here it wards off evil spirits. It's from Africa." said the red headed witch.
Serena wanted nothing more than to punch the wiccan in the face and stab her in the gut right then and there. Especially, after she snatched the talisman away from her. She had met the demon of dance before...and he wasn't that bad. At least not to her. However, his constant singing did get very annoying. Plus he always wanted a queen. He seriously needed eHarmony.com or something... thought the evil witch who had just recently learned about the magic of the Internets and its webs.
"Oh thanks for the save..." she said as she took the talisman from Willow. As soon as she touched it, pain ran through her arm. She almost winced, but she controlled herself just in time. The talisman was more powerful than she expected... but no matter what she still would not blow her cover.
"Im Serena... who are you guys?" she asked both of the women that appeared in front of her. One of them she knew to be her target. Willow Rosenburg, but the other on she had no idea who she was and something about her aura seemed magical...demonic in fact.

While she trusted Willow, she didn't trust the other one. She hoped her feelings were meutual. Being caught off guard was something she couldn't afford to do right now. But she decided a bit of introduction wouldn't hurt. "Nice to meet the both of you I'm Manhattan's Assistant District Attorney Connie Hathaway...I just got transferred to England" she was sure that Willow eventually would be able to tell that she had slayer blood in her so she said nothin aloud. After all, according to her watcher, her adopted father...Willow had made her a slayer anyway.
Something about dancing till being on fire was familliar to Connie but she couldn't figure it out for the life of her and happily she didn't strain herself to do so. "I'm just here looking for a couple suppliese"

The dark figure stood behind the cast of shadows. After a few moments of silence, the mysterious creature shifted into the moonlight where that signature toothy grin is found stretching upwards. It was Kross, he folded his arms and became instantly serious as he tilts his head and keeps a keen eye on the group of women in the magic shop. His main focus quickly became Connie as he squints his eyes before opening them in sudden realization.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] A... Slayer....
His breathing begins rapidly picking up as he unfolds his arms and clenches his fists. Kross hasn't seen a slayer in over ten years, for a while he was scraping the bottom of the barrel for a casual drink of blood every now and then. But now Kross comes out of hiding, whoever thought that he'd meet a slayer in such a short amount of time before breaking back to the surface of the world.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] A slayer that must die.
Kross snarls his nose before picking up a nearby brick and tossing it at the store. There's no way in hell he was going in there, they'd wreck him for sure, Connie has to fight on his turf. The brick almost seems to hang in the air before closing in on the store window. Kross awaited the smash...

Connie swifley turned as soon as she sensed it. Being a slayer, a potential even she had spent the first three months just learning to sense things around her supernatrual or otherwise so by now she was very good at sensing. She sensed the brick even before it came to her and she stared at it as it did come towards the shop trying to force it back, it was not easy but she managed finally. The brick sailed backwakrds towards where it had come from.
Turning to Willow she murmered. "All right, I don't think we're alone here but...yeah...any thoughts?" she asked.

[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow]... THE HELL!?
Kross barely evades the brick that was soaring directly toward his head, as he shifts out of the way, the brick smashes against the wall behind him and crumbles down to two half pieces. Kross examines it closely before lifting his head and glaring at the store, he watches as the girls try to search for him through the darkness. He withdraws in the shadows, keeping his eye out for anyone to leave the place.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] What the hell happened? Was it the witch? B-but only the slayer saw it coming. Heh, well I'm getting some slayer blood down my throat sooner or later.
Kross is undecisive whether to stay or leave, just in case he can find a weakness or some way to get to his next meal without any huge problems he'll stay and check things out.

Willow looked at Serena and smiled. "I'm Willow Rosenberg, and you're welcome. ...Just try to becareful from now on?" Willow sensed the Vampire, then looked at the brick coming in the window, she turned to look at Connie, slightly impressed. "Well, we can always go out and if he attacks, we kick his ass." Willow grinned. "I've got a nifty sunspell that'll make him go all...crazy, it doesn't burn unless you actaully get up on it, plus a few other things." Willow closed her eyes, then looked back to Connie and Serena.
"I suggest you stay behind me, unless you're good in a fight." She sighed, of all the places. ...She wasn't even done stocking up, and she hated being interrupted while shopping or doing any sort of spells. Heading toward the door, she opened it, eyes looked around for the culprit who threw the brick. She could sense that it wasn't friendly, though mayn didn't know that she wasn't just a wicth anymore...but a goddess...thanks to the scythe.

Kross remained still, he dared not to approach them as a group. He slipped backwards, deeper into darkness before running up a wall, and kicking to another before kicking back to the first one all the way to the roof. He snarls his nose as he watches the group of heroines below.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] We're not going to play "stay together in case the mean man shows up again" all night...
Kross replays the introductions between them over and over in his head.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Serena... Connie Hathaway... Willow... Rosenberg...
He walks along the edge of the buildings, running his fingers across the smooth freezing concrete before tugging at the collar of his coat.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] What the hell am I doing, they're not going to keep me at bay. They don't give Kross limits... NO ONE GIVES KROSS LIMITS!
Kross climbs on the ledge with one swift step before kneeling down, ready to litterally drop in on the unusual trio.

What horrible timing.. Serena thought as she watched the events unfold in front of her. Just when she had made the slightest bit of process by introducing herself to the witch... something had come and ruined it for her. Whomever, had thrown the brick would pay for what they did...for the time they had caused her to loose from her mission.
When the red headed witch told her to stay behind, she almost snorted. She had spent almost two centuries fighting and training in a hell dimension...now she was on earth and she knew that there were not many who could best her in a fight. Especially with the power of the first evil running through her veins. "I can hold my own.." she said a bit shyly as she followed Willow outside. She had no idea what had caused the ruckus.. but she was betting it was either a punk kid... or a damn half breed. She hated the vile things.. the ooze that eats itself.. thats what her kind liked to call them.... however, for now she saw nothing.
"I don't see anyone out here... maybe it was just a kid.." she said to the other two women as she backed up a little as if to go back into the store.

Cautious and weary were the two things Connie was at this point and she disagreed with Serena. She kept close to Willow as she went and followed her out. She hadn't had much contact with vampires in her lifetime and she knew she would sadly lack in fighting if there was more than one. Her adopted father had trained her the best he could but right now she knew she was at a disadvantage. But what she lacked in slayerage she had in witchyness. She wasn't a full witch hell, she couldn't do half the simpliest spells but just the fact that she could do witchcraft AND fight gave her an edge.
"I can hold on my own too" she informed the redhaired witch as she looked around herself. "it can't be anything I'm not used to my guess someone wants to rain on our parade"

Just as the women were heading back into the shop, Kross hops down from the building in a leap of faith and rolls out in front of the trio to soften the landing. Blocking them off from their destination. He grows that wide grin along with his menacing eyes of hatred.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] A punk kid? Come on now, give more a lil more credit than that.
He points at Connie.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] And I'm not anything like you've encountered.
He takes a few seconds each to stare that cold glare in their eyes. He attempts to search their souls for any emotions.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] I'll admit, most people would be in fear right about now. But I guess you all aren't like most people.
It's as if the grin can't be removed as Kross lowers his head before his entire face is engulfed in a black shadow.

Eyes darted around, looking at Serena. Punk kid? not likely. When Kross came out, Willow readied herself, glowering at him. Anything they encountered? Sure, she's encountered a lot, and though his size startled her; she was keeping her wits about her. "Oh, c'mon, you're gonna threaten us? If that's all I need, I'd go taunt Spike with a cross." She grinned, Buffy would be proud...she thought, anyway.
Looking to each of the others, eyes went back to Kross. Hmph, that was it? "Newbie..." Willow lifted her hand, a ball of light emerging that looked like a miniature sun. Her gaze diverted quickly back to Kross with a grin. "It may be night, but how about a solar eclispe?" She held out her hand toward him, the tiny sun was the size of a large softball and it levitated above her hand. "Did you remember your Coppertone?"
