Slow night. that’s what it was alright. A slow night. Faith was walking through the cemetery. It was quiet. Too quiet. Not that she minded the silence. But then again it was a bit boring. Dressed in a pair of jeans fitted to her form and falling over her black combat boots. Her matching jean jacket, waist length, with a black tank underneath it. Her hair dark brown in color fell around her shoulders with a few straggles of brown falling in her face.
In her hand was a wooden stake. She tossed it back and forth in her hands . Twirling it and generally just fiddling with it. She strolled past the graves with undisturbed soil. Rolling her eyes easily. She was just itching for some action something anything. It wouldn’t be long before it came true.
Leaves crackled, soil began to alter. She turned and watched the eruption of dirt over the grave. She leaned back against another head stone. Her arms crossed under her bust. Her legs crossed at the ankles. If she had a watch she would have checked it a few times waiting for the male to crawl out of the grave site.
First she saw the hands the arms before a head. She smiled once the head was out. “Damn I thought you were going to crown forever” she smirked and stood up straight now. Not leaning against the headstone any longer steak ready in her hand but he still had a ways to go. God she wished she had someone to talk to while this vamp took his sweet time crawling out of the ground….

Super slayer stealthy moves came in handy when avoiding demons, sneaking up on vampires and escaping slayers. Sure she liked the girls, and admired their eagerness, but with their giggling they were scaring away the vamps. In recent weeks slaying had became a lot less like hunting, and a lot more like fishing. She missed the 'kill or be killed' and was growing tired with the be patient and still and maybe one will come to you nonsense.
She had found herself reflecting on the glory days when vamps would actually threaten to kill her instead of running in fear. With her slayer seances tingling she followed it, a bit disappointed when she saw Faith, it was going to be her kill. But she didn't mind sharing as long as it wasn't with the newbies. "Faith," she greeted casually, resting against a nearby stone, watching the vamp in the ground. "Is it just me or do vamps seem a lot less scary then they used to?"

Faith glanced over at Buffy and smirked nodding. “Whats up B, didn’t think I’d see you out playing tonight!” she stated and looked back to the vamp who was just finally pulling himself out of the ground. “No kidding” she replied to Buffy before taking a step forward and sighing. She looked over to Buffy and shrugged before twirling the steak around in her hand nonchalantly. “So we dancing tonight or what. Kill him quick? You got something else for us to do or is this it? “
The vampire lunged and faith held him back throwing a punch. “We can make this last… “ she said with a smirk. The vampire lunged for them both now.

Buffy shrugged, she would have been out 'playing' every night, if only the newbie slayers left her something to slay. She slanted her eyes at Faith, leave it to Faith to go the long torturous way. Not that she hadn't given a vamp a beating longer then necessary before, but it was alway in the sake of venting. She shrugged, "might as well make it last, the vamp's don't really come out and play like they used to. Besides, my new top is ruined anyways," she said, tilting her head as she waited for the vamp to crawl out of the whole. "He must be stuck," she said nonchalantly.
"But I'm up for dancing later, anything that doesn't involve the babysitting the girls sounds good," she said, figuring a night on the town with Faith would be a lot more fun then training slayers. She realized that this was the most excitement she had had, all week. "I hate to say this, because I'm the poster child for not wanting to stop the appocoplyse..again. But I'm really board." She said, knowing that more then any one, Faith would be the one that could relate to how she felt.

Faith was trading blows with the vampire back and forth. Hitting him more times then he got to hit her. It was unfair but hey, what did it matter anyway. She was bored. When she heard Buffy say she was up for dancing later faith just smirked for a moment. By dancing she meant fighting this vampire with her. But dancing at a club was good too. She didn’t feel the need to correct her only saying in response “Yeah dancing sounds great, but can we go to a 21 plus club please..” she joked as she dodged a blow and jammed the steak into the vampires chest.
Pulling it out before the vampire just gave her a look of sheer pureness and turned to dust in the wind. Faith turned around and brushed some of the dust off her before sticking the piece of wood in her back pocket and responding to Buffy’s boredom statement. “well we could just take a break. Stop going out and hunting and just fight amongst ourselves. Would be good practice and would actually give the bad guys a chance to balance out. Even the odds a bit. More challenging for the new girls sure, but come on B they shouldn’t have it easier then we did… its just not right… “

Kross shifts from behind a huge statue with his trench coat swaying in the wind. His eyes gleamed in the street light as he begins clapping. Slow and sarcastic would be a good way to describe these claps. He lifts his head and grins that trademark toothy grin.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Whoo, you know I gotta tell you, all the slaying and the jibber jabber, it sent beads of sweat running down my face. I mean wow... who can beat you slayers huh?
He looks them over once more before crossing his arms over his broad chest.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Now now, don't stake me girls. I-I have a soul...
Kross's laughter bounces off the headstones before ringing in the ears of the slayers.

Buffy tilted her head and was fixing to reply to Faith, she had just given her a great idea. Clapping? She closed her mouth, Faith wasn't clapping, she looked down at her own hands, she most certanintly wasn't clapping. She rolled her eyes when she noticed the vampire, oh yes, clapping, how original. She folowed up by looking at Faith with a sigh. "Oh look, another cocky vampire that took the same 'big bad vampire wannabe 101' class that all vampires seemed to take. Should we be shaking in our boots?" she said casually to Faith, reading her stake. The look of disquist over took her face as the vampire mouthed the word 'soul'.

Kross almost lost his temper at the thought of being generic. Nevermind that, being underestimated gives one the edge. But at the same time pisses Kross off. He simply lowered his head and chuckled the remark off. His eyes shot up at the slayers as a part of the grin remained upside his face. For a moment he thought that one of the slayers were going to speak, he had to cut them off and gain total control of the situation.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Oww... Oh that hurt... that really did. D-do I really act generic? Do I... Do I look generic?
Kross lifts his arms and looks himself over before backing away from the slayers and leaning against the statue. He was ready for one of the fatal females to strike. He knew to fall back and roll backwards to his feet if they tried anything. Still Kross knew he was playing with fire.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Hey I'm trying to be a good sport about this. That's new for me. However what's not new for me is killing... killing slayers for one.

Calvin stepped from behind a tombstone and tried ending the noise the could be heard through out the grave yard. His first intention to try and take out the Summers girl and take double the credit but, that wasn't his mission. Yeah, he knew exactly who she was and her ties to Spike. The other girl she was with had somehow managed to puzzle him. Garrison's master had never revealed anything about this one but, she seemed extremely familiar to the demon.
"Now, now, now," laughed Calvin. "Why can't we all just get along?" It was then that the demon noticed the third presence. "I've heard alot about the great Buffy Summers but, never would I have seen you to be this desperate," he snickered hinting at the vampire. Calvin gracefully made his way over to the two but, was sure to keep his distance from both parties. Garrison smiled looking at how "intimidating" this guy with the party city outfit seemed just standing there.
"There won't be any slayer killing tonight, Bat Boy." Holding up his hand for both of them to keep to their sides, Calvin couldn't help but chuckle as he continued to look over to Kross. "Word to the wise bro, ease up on the the psycho act. I mean, the lauging, the villainous banter...kinda 70's." Garrison began to return his attention to the girls and cracked a slick smirk. "Sorry to come off as cocky but, a ten years of slaying will do that to you," he lied through his teeth. The demon gave his glance back to the vampire and hinted at him taking a hike.

Kross glares at the intruder, looking him up and down. This guy reeked of demon. Kross can't help but to half grin before hiding it from any viewers. He begins pacing himself around this new found demon.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Well well, it's about time I met an unknown face. I mean everyone knows Buffy and Faith, why... They're THE slayers right? There is no slayer with more credits than these two eh? But you, I find interesting. A simple nobody with no answers, no clue as to what can and will happen. No idea as to who the hell you're talking to. But it's understandable right?
Kross halted in his steps as he ends up back in front of the unknown demon. Before tugging at the collar of his black jacket.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] I mean I've been in the underworld for a decade, so you newer generations of nobodies may not remember just who I am...
Kross then moves in on the demon, face to face, his fiery eyes digging deep for intimidation.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] But you need to realize that you're not even big enough to exist on my radar... How about you buzz off somewhere else and give the grown ups some time to settle some disputes eh?
Kross then snarls his nose before his eyes instantly turn to cold, dark beads of hatred. That toothy grin exceeding passed what its ever been.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Is that fear I smell boy?
Kross stands his grounds, listening for any shuffling of feet behind him in case one of the slayers go in for the dust. He maintains his eyes set on the Demon's however, awaiting a response.

Calvin's eyes dropped and it seemed that Kross was the victor. How was Garrison's a hundred years in hell ever going to lift a tee to the vampire's ten? Had this been a battle without the whitnesses, the demon would have embarassed the vampire but, this wasn't the time. He couldn't give himself away...not this quickly. This guy continued calling the former soldier a boy when in reality, Calvin could have been his great grandfather. And where did he get off talking down to a demon of his caliber?
Without even giving this information, Garrison stood down. He smiled an chuckled to himself before replying but never broke his gaze with the "youngster". "You've got me there, old man." Calvin returned the cold glare just to show he wasn't going to back down. "I'm pretty sure it's not fear, though."
Calvin pressed the Vampire backwards in order to maintain his dominance. "It's probably because you haven't tasted real fear before." Garrison continued glancing back. His plan was to remain as normal as he could to prevent them finding out his origins. "Besides, it's going to take a hell of alot more than smeared make up to creep me out," he grimaced. This was true in the sense that he had played whitness to much worse things in his past but, he also wanted to remain in character.

Now now, what's this? I know he's a Demon. Morph already... Hold on... It all just clicked for Kross. This guy must be on the down low. Very interesting. This could be an advantage. No... I'm not that low... wait, yeah I am.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Now how old do you think I am?
Kross shrugs.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Old enough to know something about you that no one else besides yourself does. I mean the slayers must be lost here. Secrets aren't nice Mr.... Oh my, I never caught your name. Right now you're just another worthless face in this chaotic world. So tell us, before I become bored of you, who are you?

Desperate was the only thing that came to Calvin's mind as he studied the Vampire's strategy. It was then that Garrison had decided to classify this guy along with the pickpockets and petty thieves. His threat-o-meter was on an all time low and the demon began to shake his head with disappointment. And it was also now that Calvin could understand what humans considered to be a failure. This guy should have bowed before such a demon but, instead, he displayed such ignorance that it almost seemed unclassy to villainous etiquette.
Garrison's hundreds of years of torture in the underworld looked to be a complete waste now. Surely, his real vampiric task would be much more difficult to handle. Because if Spike was to behave as the man who stood before him, Calvin was going to need another job to add to this one. "Who am I," repeated the demon slightly mocking his foe. "Well, I guess you could say, I'm one of them bad boy gone good types...or you can call me Cal." Then, Garrison smiled once again as the vampire tried to embarass or bring him down. "Part demon part slayer," he smirked.
"And sorry to piss on your parade but, I don't care how old you are cap'n," he chuckled and narrowed his eyes in on Kross. This guy was like a toddler to him. There was very little he could say or do that would get a rise out him. "I'm just hear to make sure you don't do anything stupid....like hurt one of these ladies." Calvin stepped closer toward Kross and bit his lip as a sign of concentration. "But, that won't be a problem because, oddly, I don't think you're as dumb as you look."

Kross hung his head low as if he were sleeping before suddenly snapping back into the situation. He shakes his head and wipes his eyes to do some smart ass mocking of his own in the form of sarcastic acting.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Whoa... forgive me, Cal was it? I totally lost interest during your fifteen seconds of... well not fame... more like bullshit. I just think it's damn ironic that you stamp me with the 70's card when you're pulling such cheesy lines. I mean who are you? Do the slayers need protection from the 'big bad' demon slayer? I seriously doubt it. It's not hard to imagine that I don't care if you are a demon, hell at this point, I don't care if you're a slayer. You're not on my priority list. Apparently I'm rising rapidly on yours huh? Stepping on toes am I? Well I'm just an asshole, you'll get used to it.
Kross tugs at Cal's collar and pats him on the shoulder in a teasing manner. Kross is awaiting the first strike or the initial push into combat, he's so anxious to break away from the longtime boredom and roam on that path of violence once again. Kross shifts his focus to the threesome as a group.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] You all will. Because I won't be going anywhere for a long time.
He then returns back in a gradual swaying motion to maintain this playful yet threatening confrontation with Cal.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] If you're going to be having confrontations such as this one, *mockingly* word to the wise bro, don't underestimate anyone in this world. I thi-... I know that's what you're doing right now. I appreciate the humor and the good time but there's just lines that you don't want to... hmmm don't want to cross. If you get my drift...
Kross steps back as the grin melts away into a stern expression. His eyes instantly sharpen with intensity as Kross tilts his head in a quizzical manner.
[glow=736F6E,2,300]Kross[/glow] Now slayers as I was saying before I was so... rudely interrupted by "I found a heart, I'm a good guy, go church!!!" Cal. I was just wanting to send out a warning that the next generation is on its way. Also I showed up because golly gee I'm your biggest fan Buffy and Faith... So with that said and a new friend made I'll be on my way. I'll be seeing each of you later. Well Cal only if you survive till that day. I have more important business to attend to however and I don't want to screw up my schedule because lets face it, havoc doesn't happen without a source...
Kross clicks his tongue and points at Cal before diving backwards into a backflip and dipping into the darkness making his departure.

Clapping. Who was clapping? Faith arched a brow and looked over to the rather large man or well vampire that started to spit out his words in a cocky manner. She smirked and looked at buffy. “Wow who knew one would be so happy to hear that were going dancing. Or maybe it was my plan to let them rise up..” faith laughed softly and shook her head as she listened.
She saw the other guy and smiled wider. “Look at that B one for me one for you… didn’t seem right to have two on one.” she smiled at Buffy and said “Dibs on the big one, I like a big man” she laughed again. She really was not listening to what the vampire was saying. In fact she was actually listening but she was pretending not to care. Hooray for pissing people off. It generally did the job.
But the thrill that was building up in her died quickly when she figured out who cal was or rather what team he played for. He was on team good a little disappointing for her. “Three on one big boy not looking so good for you… maybe you should go get an entourage first” she waved her hand.
Faith usually had some snide comments to say. Something witty and insulting all at the same time. But it seems this Cal guy had it all covered. He did enough talking for the both of the slayers. Faith thought it to be kind of funny actually. The confrontation built up between the two men. Faith glanced at Buffy and shrugged. Bored.
