Angel looked out the window but all he could see was the lights coming from the vehicles the flying beast things were good at hiding in the dark and Angel knew it they would have to be quick if they’re going to get threw this. Angel looked back towards Mona he hopped that she could hold on long enough for them to get away from everything. To Angel they just kept coming up with new ideas to kill them he pressed his foot down so the car would speed up. Angel peered out the window to get another look at what they were dealing with but seeing darkness only dampened his spirits more.
Angel herd the screech coming from the flying beast it swopped down towards the car that Angel and Mona where in though Angel quickly grabbed the crossbow and rose out the window with his hand on the steering wheel keeping the car straight. “Hold on this might get bumpy.” Angel called out as he waited for the flying beast to get in range for the crossbow to work. As the flying beast flew a little bit closer to the car Angel let the arrows fly. Angel watched as the arrows hit the flying beast in the chest he smiled as some of the arrows hit the beast’s heart; upon being hit the flying beast let out another screech as it hit the road and rolled into the grass dead. The car swerved a little bit as Angel sat back in the seat comfortably.
Angel herd Mona’s voice in the backseat of the car he turned back and watched as another flying beast was flew towards them he didn’t know how many more they’re were. “I’m going as fast as I can.” Angel replied back as the car sped up he kept his eyes on the road though every now and again he would look at the mirror to try and pin point the creature’s movement patterns. “How are you holding up back there Mona?” Angel asked with a worried look on his face they needed to destroy theses beast so they could get through the night.

'Faster, faster,' Mona chanted in her mind, she was in no hurry to die and get a first class ticket back to hell. She held strapped her seat belt in, and held on to the strap covering her chest for dear life as it tightened into place as the car swung about. "Well go faster!" she said, loosing all reason for logic, as she screamed and held her eyes tightly shut. 'How was she doing' he asked. "Let me reply to that question with vomit," she said as he started to regain control of the car. "I changed my mind, I don't want the burger anymore," she said focusing on her breathing. "I hate cars, cars suck, to much....wobbling," she said unsteadily moving her hands back and forth to demonstrate. "Lets find a damn plane, heights I can do! Then lets get the hell out of this country."
Slowly and carefully she peeled her eyes open, afraid of what she was going to see. Not knowing what was coming next, and walking into the next ten minutes of her life blind made her a nervous wreck. Some food, sleep, and then she would feel better. Curiosity won her over as she turned in her seat to look for the other cars, a few were ahead of them, some were far away to either side, but there were no lights behind them. They were beast food, which gave her hope that the demons were occupied and wouldn't come looking for more food. But then again demons were picky eaters, she knew that first hand.
"Things could be worse," she said to herself, knowing that there were four others out there lurking. She tapped her finger against her leg, trying to be patient until they made it outside the city limits.

Angel tried to make the car go faster but it wasn’t anything fancy nothing more. “I’m trying to get this car to go faster.” Angel replied back to Mona keeping his eyes at the front he didn’t bother to turn back when the sound of screeching screamed out from the darkness. Angel could see lights in the distance he guessed that they came from the airport all they had to do was to board a plane. I mean all they were really doing to borrowing it and relocating the plane to another spot. Angel saw the turn of to the airport with one quick move he steered the car into the road that would lead them to the airport luckily they didn’t went of the road.
“Look there’s an airport up ahead of us all we have to do id to get there and we’re home free.” Angel explained to Mona looking back he spotted several headlights but not the amount that there were before they left LA. Angel spotted flames burst from the mirror he guessed that a car had blown up from being flipped and tossed like a rag doll though Angel wasn’t sure of it. “I’m going to have to lean out of the window again to get this thing.” Angel called out to Mona as he spotted another flying beast coming their way. Angel grabbed hold of the crossbow and reloaded it with fresh arrows he tightly griped to the steering wheel with his right hand as he climbed out of the window. With his feet firmly on the seat and holding the steering wheel Angel comfortably stood up eying the flying beast right in the eye he aimed the crossbow and fired it.
The flying beast swerved to the left as it dodged the arrows flying towards it. The beast flew straight towards Angel and grabbed him it pulled him out of the car and rose into the air. “No you don’t.” Angel yelled as he fired the crossbow he let lose all the arrows he had left. Angel hit the car roof hard as the beast let him go which was a good thing because Angel didn’t want to become the beast’s food. Angel slowly climbed back into the car and looked back to Mona. “Close one I don’t know how many more they have out there but that’s two down we better hurry up or we’d be demon food before we get to the airport.” Angel explained he wanted nothing more to flee this town now. Right now Angel knew that leaving is the best thing that they could be doing he looked in the mirror and saw the headlights from the car behind them.

"Right good plan!" she said with excitement, they were almost home free. "Wait, do you even know how to fly a plane?" she asked worriedly, after watching his driving she wasn't sure if she felt safe miles above the ground with him at the wheel. She watched in fear as Angel tried to be all heroic and brave leaning out the window. For fear of her life she reached out toward the front and held on to the steering wheel. Never before having drove she just mimicked what Angel had done, only more steady. She fought Angel for control as she tried to keep the car steady, even with all of his moving about. It seemed the harder she tried to save him, the more suicidal his missions got.
Once Angel was ripped from the vehicle, Mona climbed up to the front seat, holding the wheel as the car slowed down. There was no way she was getting into the divers seat, and no chance that she was going to put her foot on that death pedal located at the bottom of the car. Once She heard Angel land on the top of the car she screamed, then remembered if he was dead, he would have been dust, not made a thump. She exhaled in relief. "I vote we not be demon food!" She said, refastening her seat belt, now that she was in the front seat, and tightly held on to the 'oh shit' handle above the window.
"They are gone Angel, have been for a while, nothing we could have done," she said, repeating the words that she had found made Angel feel comfortable. She was trying to learn more things to say, and how to deal with the emotions these people around her had. Until then she relied on the basics, soft words, a pat on the shoulder, and a few words to inspire hope for the better. She watched as he drove, not so wild and recklessly. "I wanna learn to drive, not the way you do, I wanna drive better!" she said trying to change the subject from the doom and gloom. She had no use for cars when she could just snap her fingers and poof she could teleport anywhere. Still the thought of driving, possibly fast, excited her. Granted she wasn't driving away from anything.

Angel turned towards Mona who was now in front seat. “No don’t know how to fly a plane though once watched a kid play flight simulator.” Angel replied. “Well once I’m sure it’s the same.” Angel replied well he taking of would probably be okay but landing Angel hadn’t worked that one out yet. “I vote that one as well we’re almost there just a little bit more to go.” Angel explained hopefully they would be able to hide in the crowd and escape in a plane. Angel looked back once more but seeing nothing no headlights no demon flying creatures that want them as their food. Looking around he swerved the car to the left so he could turn into the right road he intended so them to go the back way to make things a little bit easier. “What you don’t like my driving?” Angel asked.
When Mona said that they were gone Angel slammed his fists against the steering wheel. “Darn it!” Angel yelled out the car slightly went into the grass though only for a moment or two. “We’ll have to move on to England it’s what they would’ve wanted.” Angel replied trying to calm himself down he didn’t want to act rash or anything they had to get to England to warn Buffy and her friends about the immediate danger they all faced it seemed that this was only the first wave of the war they were already in the middle of. Angel saw the gate ajar he slowed down as he skimmed through the gate only breaking the two mirrors on each side of the car. Angel slammed on the breaks he lunged forward though luckily with his seatbelt on he didn’t fly through the window and onto the tarmac.
Angel unbuckled his seatbelt and climbed out of the car he kneeled down so the car door would cover him well he hopped so he turned towards Mona. “We only have one shot at this we run towards that small plane and take of.” Angel explained to Mona as he herd screeching coming from the flying beasts he didn’t want to be taken from them again; Angel didn’t want to be demon food though he thought that maybe their claws would dust him before they chewed down. Angel spotted the three flying were bearing down. “Now!” Angel called out to Mona as he began runing towards the small plane.

She gave him a look, that let him know he did not even bother to answer if she liked his driving, the claw marks on the edge of her seat should have been answer enough. After he rammed the gate Mona slid back in her chair. "Wanna ask me again if I like your driving?" she added a hit of sugar to her sarcasm.
"Good luck Spike!" she whispered out into the darkness, knowing that at least one other person had to make it out alive in order to save the world. As she followed Angel toward the plane, she couldn't help but think how hungry and tired she was. She just needed a fix, just a little one. Mona tried as hard as she could to keep up with Angel, but she was just slowing him down. They avoided a few security guys', hiding behind a large crate, which gave her a moment to rest. "You still owe me a hamburger!" she reminded. "We don't even know where this plane is gonna land, what if we end up in Texas or something, then what?" she asked nervously, if only she had some energy enough that one little vision wouldn't drain her with.
"Stay here!" she whispered to Angel, as they hid behind the crate from the two security personal. "I had a vision," she quickly lied, not being very creative. Leaving Angel she walked over to the men, who looked surprised by her presence.
*Leaves Angel*
"Excuse me, I think I'm lost, can you tell me where the restroom is?" she asked politely. One of the men offered to escort her, and she followed him. She was preparing herself to suck the human dry of its soul when she caught a wiff of something, something powerful. She left the guard, unintrested n what he was saying as she made her way towards the building. She walked blindly, letting her sinces take her as she followed eagerly. When she found the source of the power, she stared at it as if it were a piece of meat dangling before a starving man.

Closure was the reason why Craig had come to the airport. After being evacuated from Sunnydale, Craig had not had a lot of time to say goodbye to the places that he knew. His parents had forbid him to return there saying it was to dangerous and he could end up getting himself or hurt.
So now that he lived alone, he felt that he could once again return to the ruins of the place that had once been his home. But it is because it alerted him to his powers of being a witch that made him want to return for.
So he arrived at the airport which was a two hour drive from his house, due to all the diversions he had to take for road closures that he did not fully understand. So as he arrived he parked his car and was surprised to see that there were not that many cars in the parking lot. So he ran to entrance with his duffel bag hanging on his left shoulder as he was desperate to leave LA for a little while.
As Craig entered the airport, he had been prepared to look for the screens that showed the departure times to ensure his flight was on time. But before he was able to head over there he stopped in his tracks as he noticed a woman starring at him strangely. So Craig was only able to stare back unsure of what to do.

Mona huffed inwardly, great, now what was she gonna do? She paused, and realized he was starring back at her, stupid observant humans. So she did the only thing she knew to do, pick up a news paper and hold it over her face. She spotted one lying conveniently close on a chair a few feet away from her, sure it was over an old man's face, but he was sleeping and would never know she took it. So she causally walked, trying to ignore the hunger fighting within her. Maybe he would just forget, and she could sneak up on him later. She ripped the newspaper up and held it over her face, and pretended to be interested.
Gang related violence destroys L.A. 'sure, that's what's causing all the dammage...gangs' she rolled her eyes after reading the headline. Humans were always so afraid of what they did not understand, or better yet what they did not want to understand. They were perfectly content hiding in their perfect happy world, unaware of the demons (much like herself) that lurked among them.
She was quite certain that the human had turned his attentions elsewhere, and began to take a few steps in pursuit, her face covered by the paper as she walked blindly. After managing to not trip she decided it would be safe to look again, and come out from what seemed like a good hiding place. When she peaked around the corner of the paper she was surprised at what she was standing in front of. "Um, hi," she said weakly, hoping that the powerful being was not a threat to her if he suspected something.

After seeing her stop staring at him, Craig shook it off and assumed that she had mistaken him for someone else. So as he had planned he headed over towards the fllight departure board. So he kept his head down watching where he was going, trying to draw little attention to himself.
When he reached the flight departure board, he flicked through the boards quickly trying to find the details for his flight to California. But as he was browsing through the list he was surprised to hear a "hi."
So Craig turned around and noticed the same woman that he thought had been staring at him before. Craig observed the woman once over taking all her characteristics into consideration in case he recognized her. But after a few moments he realised he has not seen her before.
"Umm...Hi can I help you at all?" Craig asked curiously unsure what the woman's motives were.

Angel laughed as Mona hated his driving he knew that she did because Angel drove like a crazy person. As Angel and Mona hid behind a grate Angel turned towards her. “I know I’ll get you one as soon as possible.” Angel replied back smiling. Angel nodded in frustration he didn’t think on where the plane would land he only thought to get out of LA. “Okay don’t be too long.” Angel replied to Mona as he watched her leave. Angel waited for Mona to return he peered around the crate looking around for her though only to look into the darkness. Standing up he checked the area looking for Mona though he realized that she wasn’t anywhere in sight now.
Cursing quietly Angel walked away from the crate turning his head left from right seeing if he could spot Mona. Walking further into the Airport Angel kept his eyes open to try and find Mona he wondered where she ran of to though he’d ask her that exact question when he found her. Angel stopped for a moment as he looked around the crowd of people he wondered what they would think on what was really happening in their world. Angel continued to walk through the crowd of people it was then he spotted Mona talking to a strange guy that Angel never met before.
Angel approached the two from the left side of them he stopped and looked at Mona. Angel made his presence known to the two as he approached them he looked at both of them before turning towards Mona. “Mona what happened to you?” Angel asked her wanting to know why she ran off in a time like this they needed to get out of LA pronto. “You know we still need to get to England.” Angel explained again he turned towards the unknown guy. “Um hi.” Angel said to him as he folded his arms waiting for a response from Mona or Craig.

Damn! Humans and their....humanness, that stupid survival instinct always seemed to kick in just when she didn't want it to. 'Could he help her? Ha! sure he could make things a lot easier'. "Actually, I'm..." she paused, a bit shocked to see the vampire appear, why couldn't he just be a good vamp and 'stay!' "Angel," she said a bit startled. Mona sighed, well there went dinner, she thought longingly as she stared at the boy. The irony that his life had been saved by a vampire was not lost on her. However she still needed a fix, a strong one!
"Um, he has to come with us!" she said both lying and thinking fast on her feet. "Yep," she said more for her own benefit, because she could not believe she had actually just said that. "Yeah, you have to save him...from....from, bad things," she said to Angel, unable to come up with an explanation. "You have to come with us, or you'll.....you will...die!" she said enthusiastically to the boy. Oh no. "I mean...I'm not threatening you...I'm uh trying to save you!?" she corrected herself, by telling yet another lie. 'Vision' she mouthed to Angel.

Craig looked at the man who had arrived beside them and thought he was a very good looking guy. But then his lustful thoughts were shot down as he heard talk about death. Craig's eyes widened in fear until they would stretch no further. Craig took a single step back away from the people unsure of their intentions.
"Please I do not want to be involved in anything crime related with you. All I want to do is go to California in peace ok." Craig retaliated hoping they would understand why he was here now.

Mona thought it over, either the boy stayed in California and was killed. Or he went along with them until she could get him alone and turn him into food, at least this way it would be for a good cause. So she shrugged inwardly, knowing she was going to have to lie a lot in order for just one meal, but desperate times called for desperate measures. And she was really desperate.
She watched as he backed away in fear, well this just wouldn't do. It would take forever for her to find something this powerful to snack on again. She tried to think, how could she manipulate this situation to benefit her own desires? "No, no no. You don't want to stay in California. You want to come with us, where it is safe. Far away from stupid flying demons," she said, looking over helplessly to Angel.

Angel looked from Craig to Mona he wondered who this new guy was but if Mona said she had a vision that he needed to come with them to England he guess that he should though Angel didn’t know if he was a civilian or not. Angel looked back to Mona she looked a little bit shocked to see him well they were fleeing for their lives after and he didn’t know the flying beasts were going to attack an entire crowd of people yet. “If Mona says we have to save you better come with us then it’s wise to follow us. We don’t have very little time left.” Angel explained to the new guy. Angel watched Mona as she tried to get Craig to come with them it was quiet amusing to him actually.
“There were a lot of flying creatures outside trying to attack us we’re not doing anything against the law so your safe with us but we have to move to England right away it’s not safe in America anymore. Look we’re only trying to save your life here stay here and die or come with us and live.” Angel explained to the new guy he walked away from them to try and find a good flight to get to England. Looking at the screens he found a good flight for them to take though for Angel he would have to stay in the baggage compartment since it would be sunlight when they arrived in London. “There’s a flight to London that leaves in an hour it’ll get to London at ten in the morning.” Angel explained to the two he turned back towards them both as he waited for a response.

"Demons, they mean real demons. I mean I have briefly read about them in one of my books but I didn't think that would inhabit a area like LA. I mean surely they would want to stay hidden away from humans." Craig thought to himself unsure of what to reply.
"Alright I will come with you guys for now. But only because if what you say is true I don't wanna travel on my own and be a possible target for attack. Let me ask one question. You mean to tell me there are real breathing demons outside these walls?" Craig said as he tried to make a good point.
