Jin had spent most of his time in the library he was reading up on some new books that had came in he found it to be very interesting since there was stuff on demons. By lunch time Jin was already onto his fourth book he sighed as he turned the page. Jin had been trying to find out as much as he can possible on the first he wanted to know what he was up against there were so much you could ask the council before you need to find stuff out for yourself. Jin pushed his glasses back towards his nose as he looked around he was now completely alone there were a few slayers in earlier but they took what they needed and left Jin alone. Jin only realized that there was a new batch of comic books out today but he had a responsibility of a watcher so he couldn’t go until he had put the books away correctly.
Jin decided to finish up reading on the books latter and decided to put the books away. Picking up a couple of books he turned around to looked at the display of books that were everywhere he smiled he felt like a kid at a candy store right about now. Jin climbed the ladder as he started to place the three books away properly though he only realized that the last book was only a stretch away. Leaning to the right Jin placed the book away through he slipped and fell to the ground. “Ouchy. That really hurt” Jin muttered as he tried to find his glasses.

Connie stormed in. She hadn't been in a good mood all day, well...all two days and this day wasn't helping. She barely noticed the watcher as she went towards the law section of the library, there were few books she could read but the information would help her. She threw the book down on the desk not too far away and sat down. She tried to get her chair but when it wouldn't move she used magick to slam it. "this peice of..." she didn't finish.
She tried to find some stuff and finally gave up. She started to slam her head down on the table and started bashing her skull. "Someone shoot me" she muttered. She stopped when she realized the watcher had forgotten his glasses. She couldn't stop his fall but she put her hand out and his glasses appeared in her hands. She put it next to her before going back to slamming her head against the wall.

Jin stood up from the ground as he saw from his blurry vision that the woman that stormed into the library made his glasses appear next to her. Jin slowly walked over towards the woman and grabbed his glasses he whipped them with his shirt then placed them on. Now with his vision cleared he could see who the woman was and Jin recognized her as Connie though the two haven’t officially met the watcher’s council speak of Connie when Jin was around.
“Hi there thanks for rescuing my glasses back there.” Jin explained as he looked towards Connie. “What seems to be the problem Mrs Hathaway?” Jin asked as he looked back towards Connie he walked over towards her as he waited for a response. Picking up another book he found the right place it. Jin placed the book away and turned back to Connie.

She barely seemed to be listening as she was still hitting herself. She was lightly crying although she would've never admitted it. As she looked down at the book she was holding she cried harder. "just shoot me" she muttered as she kept on bashing herself. She couldn't do this anymore, she wouldn't do it anymore. She had lost too many people this was all her fault.
As she glanced at the watcher with her tearstreaked face she realized he reminded her too much of someone she had lost, someone very dear to her. She said nothing about this of course but she got up from where she was, fell because of her blurry vision...swore aloud and started walking.

Jin watched as Connie began hitting herself he walked over towards her and grabbed hold of her hands so she wouldn’t continued to beat herself up. “What’s going on why are you beating yourself up?” Jin asked firmly he wanted to know the answer because he wanted to help her. Jin turned towards Connie as she began walking out of the library though Jin hurried towards the front of Connie to try and stop her from leaving.
“You didn’t answer my question before what’s happened to you to make you feel like this?” Jin asked as he tried to get through her. Jin looked at Connie straight in the eyes as he waited for a response from her. “Tell me what’s wrong and I can help you.” Jin added in his watched Connie carefully so he could stop her from beatning herself up.

"I let a murder happen in front of me...I allowed my collegues to get killed, I nearly got the whole place burnt down...." she couldn't conteanue anymore as she just seemed to shake her head and cry. She took out her bar licence to show him. "I used to work in Manhattan Homicide Unit before moving here...I....I was..." but what she was she never got around to telling, she choked out words and fragments as she tried to regain control over herself.
She kept on shaking her head and than finally sat down on another chair. She tried to breath straight...that wasn't working to well. She seriously hoped someone would kill her...why she was feeling like this after all this time she didn't know though. It should've affected her when she had fierst arrived right...why was it killing her now?

Jin looked towards Connie as he listened to what happened to her. “It’s ok we learn to move on there’s nothing you can do to change the past but learn from it. What’s done is done but don’t beat yourself up because of it. I know it’s going to be hard but you’ve got a job to do you’re a slayer now.” Jin replied to Connie as he looked towards her as he waited for her response. “Back in Tokyo there was a demon who killed my father I let revenge take over me it possessed me sort of. I spent the better part of my life well a year or so fueled by rage you can’t let it take over you.” Jin explained to Connie as he rested his hands on Connie’s shoulder he wanted to let her know that everything was going to be okay.

At the watcher's touch the woman calmed down. She shook her head again hiccuping now. "S...Sorry...I didn't mean to catch you like this...and certainly not in this mood" she explained herself as she looked at her knees unable to look at him in the eye. She knew that what she'd done wouldn't have looked good that well. She sighed breathing in and out trying very hard not to burst into tears again. She hadn't rmemeber the last time she had cried which was why this was so akward for her.
As she looked around at everything around her she said. "W...What were you doing here...do you need me to do anything?" she thought that perhaps doing something would help her get her mind off of Manhattan.

Jin let his hands go from Connie’s shoulder as he watched her calm down he smiled and took a few steps backwards as he listened to her comment. “That’s ok we all get bad moods every now and again.” Jin replied. Jin picked up a book that had fallen from the table he looked at the title and placed it in the shelf where it belonged. “Some help would be great. There was a new shipment of demon books that came in this morning the council asked me to catalog the books and put them away alphabetically. I’ve cataloged the books but still working on putting the rest of the books on the table there away.” Jin explained as he pointed to a large table of books. Jin turned towards Connie as he waited for a response from her.

"You don't have to do this manually" she said with a smirk. She smiled and waved her hands over the books that needed to be where they started from. With a swish of wind the books disappeared in purple orbs and appeared in their rightful places again. After having done that she turned to the watcher once more. "That better?" she asked as she looked at him.
"Look thanks for stopping me before I really went bonkers I can tell you that wouldn't have been a good sight to see" she told him with a smile. "Do you wanna train with me...I know you're not my watcher but hey I have my own watcher just...not here..."

Jin laughed as he watched the books magically placed in their correct places within the bookcase. "I wouldn't think of doing that." Jin smiled. With the help of Connie Jin had the afternoon of since the council didn't want him to do anything else and there was know missions he could go in since some of them already left by now so he was free. Jin turned towards Connie and nodded in reply as he Connie asked if he'd like to train. "That's okay and If you ever want to talk I'm here to talk to you with what ever you need." Jin replied to Connie. Jin took his glasses of and whipped them with his shirt as they fogged up again; placing his glasses back on his face Jin looked back to Connie. "Sure that sounds like a good idea." Jin replied and training always helps. "Ready?" Jin asked Connie they would be able to train the library.

Connie smiled as she looked at him. She was so grateful that he had decided to help her out. She sighed as she looked around. This looked like a great place as any to train and talk while training. Who knew maybe she could stop feeling lonely, she had to get some things off her chest and because of the way the watcher had handled her in her enraged and distressed state, she was confident that he could handle her in any situation.
"All right sure...I ususally talk while I train helps my concontraition...don't ask how the two go in hand in hand I don't know but I can ususally multitask...I need to get some of the things off my chest...you're gonn a hear a lot of past time talk so if you don't want to know my life now would be the time to tell me" she smiled. "All you have to do is listen...its all I sak"
